During times of distress it is important for youth to know who can be a support. This simple but important tool can be a spring board for exploring what clients or students want and expect from others.
Tool Tips
Questions to consider:
- Can you ask the person to be on your list? Role play how you might ask.
- Role play what you might say when you call on your support person.
- What do you need or want from this person?
- Are your expectations reasonable?
