mindyourmind creates current, web-based, interactive learning modules with:GirlStandingonHead

  • web-based interactive games and tools
  • personal stories
  • creative videos

This youth-focused program inspires peer-to-peer learning based on principles of youth engagement. Learning modules can be crafted for specific courses or lessons and provide outcomes reflective of Ministry course expectations.

Web-based lessons engage secondary school students in learning:

  • how to better manage stress associated with life transitions
  • about common mental health disorders
  • how to reflect emotionally about stigma associated with mental illness

The overall concept is that mental health is more than the absence of a problem or illness. Students have opportunities to explore and practice various skills and self-reflect on their own mental wellness and personal goals for wellness.

Feedback from students tells us that mindyourmind is creating remarkable ways for students to access information and resources about mental health and wellness.

Students want more! Students ask for more games, more quizzes, more personal stories and more resources! Clearly, students are engaged in web-based, interactive learning.
